There's a lot of work that took this outdoor patio to an enclosed patio / sunroom / additional living room.

Phase 1: Demolishing and Rebuilding the Foundation
Our project began by deconstructing the existing patio. This involved carefully removing the concrete slabs, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding landscape. Once the old surface was cleared, we prepped the ground for the new, expanded foundation. This crucial step included precise grading to ensure proper drainage and a solid base for the concrete pour. Our team meticulously compacted the sub-base materials, creating a stable platform for the forthcoming extension.
Phase 2: Laying the Groundwork - The Concrete Foundation
With the groundwork prepped, we moved on to pouring the concrete foundation for the expanded patio and enclosed room. We used high-quality concrete mix, specifically formulated for durability and a long-lasting finish. Our experienced crew ensured a smooth, level pour using professional techniques. The precise concrete work created a seamless transition between the existing home and the new addition.
Phase 3: Framing the Dream - Building the Walls and Roof
Once the concrete foundation cured, the framing for the room addition began. Our skilled carpenters erected a sturdy frame. This framework provided the skeleton for the walls, windows, doors, and roof. Following the wall support construction, our team meticulously installed the roof trusses or rafters, creating the overhead structure for the new room.
Phase 4: Bringing the Room to Life - Windows, Doors, and Exterior Features
With the core structure complete, we focused on the exterior shell. This included installing large windows, strategically placed to maximize natural light and create a connection to the outdoors. We also installed exterior doors, ensuring smooth operation and proper weatherproofing. Additionally, our team addressed any necessary exterior features, such as gutters and downspouts, to manage rainwater effectively.
Phase 5: Closing the Loop - Plumbing, Electrical, and Interior Finishes
Now that the exterior envelope was complete, it was time to focus on the interior functionality. Our plumbers meticulously rough-ed in all the plumbing fixtures, including lines for sinks and drains. Similarly, our electricians installed electrical wiring, outlets, and switches to accommodate lighting, appliances, and entertainment systems.
